Paul Weller has been added to the Noel Gallagher-curated Teenage Cancer Trust concert series, and will headline on March 25th.
Weller joins the previously announced bill-toppers Ryan Adams, Primal Scream, Kasabian, Rizzle Kicks and Gallagher himself, while an evening of comedy will take place on March 20th, hosted by Russell Brand and Noel Fielding.
“I’m looking forward to getting on stage for the final night of
Teenage Cancer Trust at Royal Albert Hall,” Weller has commented. “I’ve
always supported the charity and have seen first-hand how hard they work
and what a huge difference it makes to the kids. When Noel asked me to
headline I didn’t hesitate.”
Palma Violets have been confirmed as the support for Weller at London’s Royal Albert Hall, while Beth Orton, Dark Horses, Damon Albarn & Graham Coxon and Labrinth are also booked for appearances.
Noel Gallagher is organising the Teenage Cancer Trust line-up for one year only as regular curator Roger Daltrey continues live touring with The Who.
