Kasabian: Wembley's Going To Be Magical
Kasabian will join Oasis on tour this summer in the UK
Kasabian have described the sound of their forthcoming new album as "very psychedelic".
The Leicester band will release their third LP West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum on 8 June.
The follow-up to 2006's Empire was recorded in America with ex-Gorillaz producer Dan The Automator.
After the release the band will take up a high profile support slot with Oasis for a UK stadium tour starting at Manchester's Heaton Park on 4 June.
Speaking about the tongue-twisting title given to West Ryder Pauper Lunatic Asylum, guitarist Serge Pizzorno said: "It's just to get people on their toes and to say, 'What's this all about?'.
"I saw this mad documentary on this place and I was quite interested in these words and I thought it was cool."

Continuing the theme, the album's sleeve artwork features the band dressed in period costume.
"I'm Napoleon and Serge is this mad butcher priest. It's a reflection of ourselves," said lead singer Tom Meighan. "If we were back in the day, it would be who we'd be.
"They're just characteristics coming out of us.
"We're getting ready to go to the fancy dress ball at the asylum," added Pizzorno. "We just fancy taking a photo of ourselves whilst we're getting ready."
The albums arrival comes after the release of Vlad The Impaler, a track made available for free through the band's website back in April.
"It's a huge song," said Pizzorno. "It's really quite nasty and evil and I couldn't really call it anyone who wasn't nasty and evil - so he [Vlad] was perfect."
The accompanying Richard Ayoade [The I.T Crowd] directed video clip featured The Mighty Boosh actor Noel Fielding and Kasabian aren't adverse to returning the favour.
"Maybe one day," said Serge. "Maybe with Noel somewhere down the line. It would be insane. I think people would finally think that we've gone over to the other side which would be quite great."

Following West Ryder's release on 8 June, the band will begin a huge stadium UK tour with Oasis and The Enemy culminating in three nights at London's Wembley Stadium in July.
"What a great bill, what a great summer to be had by all in the stadiums around the country," said Pizzorno. "Wembley's going to be magical, a massive night. It'll be amazing."
The fivesome will also play before Bruce Springsteen on Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage on the Saturday of this year's Somerset bash.
"We're going to try and steal his [Springsteen's] napkin that he has in his back pocket and meet Silvio from the Sopranos [Actor Steven Van Zandt plays in Springsteen's band]," said Pizzorno.
"It's just nice to be doing it," added Meighan. "Someone pulled out and we went in and did it."
